Stucco
Stucco is a siding material made of cement, sand, lime, and water. When applied correctly, it provides a solid, durable, and seamless home exterior. The advantages of stucco are that it is naturally resistant to fire, has lasting durability, and is low maintenance. Traditional hard-coat stucco is strong and durable because it covers your home with a layer of rock.
EIFS
Exterior insulation and finish system (EIFS) is a general class of building cladding systems that are non-load bearing. It provides exterior walls with an insulated, finished surface, hence its name. EIFS is water-resistant and can last for 50-60 when the exterior of the home is well maintained. Compared to stucco, it is synthetic and softer.
APPLICATOR CERTIFICATE REQUEST
Quality installations are important for our entire industry. Master Wall encourages distributors to promote certification with their applicators. Of course, holding a certificate doesn’t mean the applicator is an expert in the installation of our products, but it does verify that they have met the minimum requirements to receive a product warranty on their project.
Master Wall has extensive product literature available both in printed form and on our web site. We also offer training seminars through sponsoring distributors. These comprehensive seminars include nearly all aspects of the installation from specifications to critical installation details.
An applicator certificate request is required to receive an applicator certificate. As a minimum, applicators should receive product literature, but attending a seminar or reviewing our training is preferred. Applicators can complete the form below for immediate submittal or submit completed forms (at right) to their local distributor for processing.
Upon review and acceptance we will issue an applicator certificate valid for two years. Certificates along with any warranty requests will be sent to the sponsoring distributor.
APPLICATION FOR CERTIFICATESubmittal Request
Master Wall’s custom submittal form allows you to customize your submittal rather than using a generic submittal package. For example, you can request a Rollershield Drainage EIFS with 6 oz Hi-Tech mesh and our Eco-Glass finish. Your request will be professionally reviewed and you will receive an email with your custom submittal. If you forget to specify a required item (like Primecoat for Eco-Glass), we’ll add it and let you know. Unlike our competitors, this isn’t a computer program it’s a person.
The form can be filled out, then click “send to Master Wall” and we’ll begin processing it. Our goal is to email the submittal back to you within 24 hours.
MASTER WALL SUBMITTAL REQUESTWARRANTY REQUEST
Master Wall® Inc. is pleased to announce the availability of labor & material warranties for most Master Wall® products and systems. Product warranties are often an important part of closing the project. Master Wall® is committed to producing quality products and systems with warranties.
We offer warranties for commercial and residential projects. The primary difference is the requirement of a code-approved secondary water barrier in residential construction.
Special warranties may also be available to meet certain project specifications or needs. However, we must approve any changes in writing before the project begins and may want to review the plans.
Warranty Process
With the exception of ReCote any warranted work must be performed by a certified applicator.
The Warranty Certificate Request Form must be filled out either electronically (preferred), emailed to tech@masterwall.com or faxed to Master Wall’s Technical Services (706-569-6704).
The form is sent to Master Wall® Inc.’s Regional Sales Representative for review.
Providing the Regional Sales Representative and Technical Services have no reasons to hold the warranty or add any exclusions to the Warranty, they each sign the Warranty Certificate Request Form and send it back for processing.
Warranties are issued for completed Warranty Certificate Request Forms and emailed to the local distributor for distribution. We do not send warranties directly to applicators or owners.
No extended warranties are offered without a specific “Intent to Warrant” letter prior to the job start. Please contact Technical Services for more information if needed.
